Working as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist at Fleet Healthcare
By Alex Hunt, Founder of Fleet Healthcare
When I listen to Jeffrey talk about his time with us, what comes through straight away is how much he values feeling supported. For him, being a clinical exercise physiologist isn’t just about running sessions and ticking off programmes. It’s about having the backing to do his job properly, without being pulled in too many directions at once.
Jeffrey’s experience reflects the kind of environment we try to build for every clinician on our team. One where support comes first, where quality of care matters more than volume, and where our clinicians are genuinely connected to one another rather than working in isolation.
Jeffrey is a clinical exercise physiologist in our Fleet Healthcare team. His story shows how the right level of support changes what a clinician can offer their clients.
A Really High Level of Support
Jeffrey doesn’t hesitate when asked what stands out most about working with Fleet.
“They have a really high level of support.”
That support isn’t just a nice sentiment — it’s something Jeffrey feels in his day-to-day work. It really feels, as he puts it, that Fleet is “all about empowering me” to do the job well.
Delivering the Best Care, Without the Pressure
For Jeffrey, that support translates directly into better care for his clients.
“I can deliver the best services and the best healthcare I can to my clients.”
And just as importantly, he doesn’t feel like he’s carrying that responsibility alone.
“They really make sure that I don’t feel the pressure to stretch myself too thin.”
That balance — being able to give clients everything they need, without burning out in the process — is exactly what we want every clinician at Fleet to experience.
Helping Clients Improve Their Long-Term Health
Jeffrey is clear about who benefits most from the way Fleet operates.
“I’d really recommend Fleet Healthcare to all clients that, you know, have some issues with their health that want to improve their long-term health outcomes.”
It’s a straightforward point, but an important one. Fleet’s mobile model exists for exactly this reason — to help people work toward lasting improvements in their health, in an environment that suits them.
A Connected, Holistic Team
Jeffrey also speaks to something bigger than his own individual experience — the way Fleet’s clinicians work together.
“All us clinicians are really connected together, and there’s a really high emphasis on making sure that we deliver holistic care, communicating with each other and working together.”
That connection between clinicians is deliberate. Clients get better outcomes when the people supporting them aren’t working in silos — and clinicians like Jeffrey get to be part of a genuine team, rather than operating on their own.
Why This Story Matters
Jeffrey’s experience reflects the culture we continue to build at Fleet Healthcare — one where clinicians are genuinely supported, where care is holistic rather than transactional, and where the whole team is pulling in the same direction.
For clinicians considering a career in mobile allied health, Jeffrey’s story is an honest look at what the role can offer: the backing to do great work without stretching yourself too thin, and a team built around communication and shared purpose.
Care that puts people first.
Work that creates lasting impact.
A team committed to helping both clients and clinicians thrive.
Mobile Healthcare that comes to you.
