Working as a Physiotherapist at Fleet Healthcare
By Alex Hunt, Founder of Fleet Healthcare
When Martin talks about working with Fleet, the thing he keeps coming back to is support — not just for clients, but for the therapists delivering their care too. It’s a small distinction that makes a big difference in how the job actually feels day to day.
Martin’s experience reflects something we care about deeply at Fleet Healthcare: care that isn’t driven by targets, delivered by clinicians who are genuinely backed by their team.
Martin is a physiotherapist in our Fleet Healthcare team. His story shows what happens when relationships, not numbers, sit at the centre of care.
Support for the Whole Team
Ask Martin what stands out about Fleet, and he doesn’t hesitate.
“I love working with Fleet because they’re really supportive with their team. They really focus on the client and the therapist, providing for both of them.”
That two-way focus matters. Clinicians who feel supported are able to show up fully for the people they’re treating — and that’s exactly the environment we try to build.
Relationships Over Numbers
For Martin, the absence of sales pressure is part of what makes Fleet different.
“They’re not pushing for certain sales or numbers. It’s really focusing on that relationship.”
Without that pressure, the work becomes about what it should be: the client in front of you, and what they actually need.
Comfort at Home Changes Everything
Martin has seen first-hand how much of a difference the mobile model makes.
“Clients respond really well to mobile healthcare. It really allows the client to feel comfortable in their own environment.”
That comfort isn’t a nice-to-have — it changes how open and engaged clients are during sessions, which shapes the outcomes they achieve.
A Rewarding Moment
Martin shares a memory that’s stuck with him — a small moment that says a lot about why he does this work.
“This client, she gave me this compliment like, ‘oh, you’re a really good teacher.’ When I was explaining how to do certain exercises, she felt really empowered. Her improvement every week has been really rewarding. It’s always amazing to see that.”
Moments like that — watching someone grow in confidence week after week — are exactly why our clinicians love what they do.
Why This Story Matters
Martin’s experience reflects the culture we continue to build at Fleet Healthcare — one where clinicians are genuinely supported, where relationships come before targets, and where care is shaped around what actually helps people improve.
For physiotherapists considering a career in mobile allied health, Martin’s story is an honest look at what the role can offer: a team behind you, and the freedom to focus on the client, not the numbers.
Care that puts people first.
Work that creates lasting impact.
A team committed to helping both clients and clinicians thrive.
Mobile Healthcare that comes to you.
