Terry’s Story: Building Strength and Trust at Home
By Alex Hunt, Founder of Fleet Healthcare
I didn’t get to meet Terry in person, but after watching his video and speaking with our team, his words stayed with me. Sometimes the simplest reflections tell you the most about what good care really looks like.
Terry speaks calmly and confidently about his experience. There is no exaggeration. Just honesty about what has helped him and why it matters.
“Oh, yes. She’s really, really terrific. Really good.”
Finding the Right Support
Terry works with Mehreen, one of our physiotherapists. From the way he speaks about her, it is clear that their work together is built on trust and consistency.
“I get the job done working with her.”
That sense of partnership is important. Physiotherapy is not something that happens to someone. It is something you do together.
Doing the Work, The Right Way
What stood out to me was how much Terry valued the way Merhreen approached her work.
“She goes everything about it the right way.”
That tells you a lot. Taking the time. Explaining what matters. Making sure exercises are done safely and properly.
When people feel confident in their therapist, they are more likely to stay engaged and committed.
More Than Just Exercises
Terry does not just talk about the physical side of therapy. He talks about the person behind it.
“She’s a terrific person.”
There is warmth there. Respect. A genuine appreciation for the care he is receiving.
He even mentions something that shows how meaningful that connection has become.
“She’s going away on holiday shortly. I’m going to miss her.”
Why This Story Matters
Good physiotherapy is not just about exercises. It is about feeling supported, understood, and confident in the process.
That is what Merhreen provides. And that is what mobile care makes possible.
Care that fits into someone’s life.
Care that is personal.
